Every so often you'll show a card where I can't see the number and I have a quiet little panic to myself. And then I remember that I'm watching this on a tiny phone screen in the middle of the night with all the lights off and the screen brightness turned right down and the yellow filter all the way up, and I realise that I'm probably not colourblind but I'm definitely an idiot.

I watched one of these with my boyfriend, and he looked confused and answered something like "Its a trick question right? Theres nothing there" So that explains why he cant color match an outfit at all and why he doesnt like green

@@the_melodic_banshee Different forms of colorblindness is fairly common in men because it's carried on the x chromosome, so they get it automatically if they have one copy of the gene

@superhuffpuff unsure if you're replying to me, but no, it's the x chromosome. Basically if a woman has it on ONE of her x chromosomes, she won't get it. That's because she still has a healthy copy of the normal colorvision gene, which overrides the mutation. But a man only has one x chromosome, so if it's on there, he doesn't have a backup nonmutated chromosome, and he's guaranteed to be colorblind. Because of this, it effects about 1 in 12 males and just 1 in 200 women globally

I saw that it reads "help" in the thumbnail. I ended up imagining a scenario where you're being tested for color blindness where it goes like this. Doctor: Do you see any words or letters in this image. Patient: (sees that it reads "help", but isn't sure what to say) Doctor: What about this one? (Turns the page) Patient: (sees that it reads "He's been holding me captive." They start to seem unnerved.) "N-no." Doctor: How about this one? (Turns the page) Patient: (sees that it reads: "I'm not the only one being held here.") Another page is turned. It reads, "They just killed John." The next one reads, "Oh god, I think they're planning on taking more people." At this point the patient is clearly terrified. "Get out while you still can."

If you can, turn your phone screen to grey scale. My phone does this in the evening and morning. In the second booklet all the pictures show different animals,numbers etc. Love it.
