Things to learn from this case- 1) Mental health is so important. Shraddha's loneliness and dependence of aftab especially after her mom died and Aftab's anger issues/sociopathic behaviour going unnoticed. If either parents could have understood this mental illness, this crime probably wouldn't take place 2) Media's reaction to this crime- While the inter-religious aspect of this relationship was one of the reasons, this seems to be the only thing the media wants to focus on. I wish they would have focused on the mental illness and the awareness behind it. In fact, even if the guy was hindu and girl was muslim, there would probably be people focusing on the religious aspect. I would really hope indians don't use such cases to justify their bigotry. I really feel for Shraddha because I live all alone in a foreign country and it can be really depressing. I even lost of father figure while living here and it was absolute hell. While I could call myself a pretty strong and independent girl, all these events made me feel and act extremely weak mentally. So keep your judgements aside because you probably don't know what she was going through. Let's also be mindful and kind with our words. There seems to be some pretty nasty comments from people of a 'certain political mindset' that thinks she deserves it.

I too like watching crime series and while watching I always thought about this thing ,how it can actually give birth to a killer. Because in most of those series the killer is shown as a cool character they also justify why he chose that way. Bcz aftaab may turn his side at court & he may lie that he was forced & beaten by police to accept the crime & in that pressure he confessed the crime which he didn't do ......and this will turn the situation against police they forced him & action will be taken against police department. So they are searching for concrete evidence.... First police have to prove through dna test that the body found is of shraddha & second they have to get cctv footage or eye witness against aftaab.

Firstly, I think and strongly believe that Shraddha should listen to her parents advice and should not boycott her parents. I mean yes parents are strict sometimes but that doesn't means that they don't care for us but because they are worried about their children. Secondly and most importantly when Shraddha and Aftab relationship was not in good terms and Aftab was violent then she should must leave Aftab and that relationship at that point of time. I don't know and also don't understand after so many hints of being cheated by Aftab she forgave him and still was in that relationship . I feel that Shraddha should share all the information about Aftab to his father or brother and if she wasn't able to do it. She must be sharing all the worst things about their relationship to her best friend or anyone who she feels comfortable to share all the details. Thirdly I think that if her parents were not agree for this relationship then she should not move in with Aftab because I feel this hurt the parents most imagine the one who had sacrifice a lot to make you a successful person and to bring happiness in your life ,you leave them only for the person you know just for 5 or 6 year and I also feel that you know your parents when you are in your mother's womb ,so you them for so long as compared to any person. I believe it and I will also do that in my life also that if ever I love any guy I will introduce them to my parents and if they don't agree to continue this relationship I will break that relationship at the spot only yaa it is true that I will not date or marry anyone in my life because I know that the relationship which I will broke have always special place and love in my heart but I can also not disappoint my parents by running away from house or still with in touch with that person and I believe that if I will do it or any other girl or boy will do the same your parents will try to understand your feelings and if you do the opposite family will cut all the ties with you and situation will become worst you feel guilty and I also think that we can also do little sacrifice for our parents instead of fighting with them we need to talk with patience with them whether it's about our career or relationship . There are many people in this world who left their parents for love n got married and all sorted between families later on and are living happily ever after. So, this is definitely not about her 'Not' listening to her parents or parting away from her parents for him (I'm not motivating anybody to leave your parents or telling that do not listen to your parents. I am from vasai and when i heard about this, i was shocked that someone living so near to me was murdered in such a cruel way, its a lesson for girls to choose their patners carefully, many small town girls often are attracted by a lifestyle where there is no restrictions and hangout with anyone they like i have no problem with it but always keep your parents involved in whatever your doing and who you are meeting they have a better tendency to see through a guy on who he actually is and whats going on in his head.. may shraddha rest in peace and her parents have the required will to go through this rough time in life....
