Very impressive indeed.. I grew up in South Altoona 59th st near Allegheny Twp line…. Born in Mercy Hospital 1964 graduated AAHS 1982… The Woolworth store n lunch counter an interesting place I thought.. Thank you… JB

@@highguysvideo I'm in town a few times a year to visit family, so I keep up with things. You mentioned house bars in one of your other videos. I love the Altoona house bars too. Mike's is my favorite place in Altoona period. So many memories (some foggy) in that place and I consider Mike a friend. Id love to see a feature on the Altoona house bars.

@@highguysvideo my family owned "Cross' Ice cream until the early 80's. I would love to see that and the neighborhood. Also, the elementary schools that are in Altoona: Wright? I believe it is not open.
