Hook up the epicenter. You’ll hear and feel the difference. Trust. You can use both the amp and the epicenter knob. The amp knob will control the sub level and the epicenter knob will control the bass restoration effect. The bass will sound not only louder, but deeper. especially for the banda and Corridos. You have it might as well use it!
