So here's the thing in the manga Ryoma Nagare has nightmares showing that the getter rays has done this to multiple planets they give the species teleology they grow and expand to entire world in all the people become getter machines the nightmare ends saying for the gutter emperor to be born it requires three things energy , oMass and Ryoma Nagare so in the end of the day the getter rays found a planet where Humanity will be born kill the dinosaur people and the antis people and helped Humanity Advanced till the time was right and he was born the emperor needed his fighting spirits unfortunately he was raised on a strong take and Destroy anyone in the way the day Humanity was never really important only Ryoma Nagare was ever needed

I wouldn't say that. Berk 2016 had awful direction too and the CGI models for people looked horrendous, especially with the shading. Arc had serviceable CGI and its a passion project so I'd give it a pass
