Super or Real?

The Nirvash is a sort of hybrid between a real robot and a super robot. Think of an Evangelion that can surf, and you have the Nirvash.

Kinda late to answer but it's Real Robot. The main reasons is the use of the LFO as Military vehicles with conventionals weapons unlike Super Robots wich fight with punches, hurricanes , Drills with infinite scale and crazy stuff like that. As a reference in my opinion the closest Real robot to be Super is IDEON but that mech is more an representation of an universal God (of death) rathen than a Real or Super robot due of his actions during the last act.

The term real robot is a myth because most robots, even the original gundam, are super robots in function. Traditionally, however, any robot that is vaguely alien and self aware(like the nirvash) that can self learn/evolve and the like is classified as a super robot. The rest of the LFOs may count as "reals" but the Nirvash itself is a very clear Super Robot.

Type 1 to 2: Real (Hybrid to be more close) Type 3 is clearly super.

It's not so much a myth but rather a retroactive term that Super Robot Wars itself invented to distinguish certain types of mecha. Hence the traditional "real route" and "super route" when you pick a character in the older games.
