SRW Z Special Disc - All Xabungle Units Attacks

The amount of units Xabungle got in Z in spite of being post-plot is insane, even if it has a lot of recolors there's also plenty of freshly animated stuff, it provides a lot of variety. This is how you show dedication to a series that doesn't get a lot of plot - you have it constantly getting more stuff from the show in spite of that so that it keeps coming back fresh.

I myself make a distinction between post-plot and no-plot series, no-plot being pretty much the ones in which only the main units and characters appear with no or barely any enemy units, while post-plot being series in which the main plot technically has already happened but they still present you with a ton of units and story integration. I feel like Daitarn provides some clear examples of ironically both types; Post Z-series console games always have Banjo as the conveniently rich guy, but the actual meganoids are never fought... Other than that one time they blueballed us with the tanks in V which turned out to be controlled by the Might Gaine villains anyways, meanwhile in Alpha 2 while it was already established in the first game that the meganoids were already dealt with, they came back and joined with the zonders as a constant (and depending of your choices, the most enduring) threat of the game, so Daitarn's inclusion feels justified, sane with Xabungle here.

@@viejodamis09 Alpha 2 isn't postplot, it has actual plot from the show present.

@@TheShinyFeraligatr tbh this is where I get confused on the post-plot definitions. Like according to that, wouldn't Combattler V be post-plot on J since it still featured the storyline with Kenji that hasn't been featured on any other game? Or what about G Gundam in both MX and T since they had the whole Dark Gundam menace going around and T in particular also had both Rain being the gundam's core and Allenby going berserk?
