I was given the CD's as a present. I began watching the 3rd season first. I realized my mistake when after finishing the 3rd season and put the first season in to play! Great series!

It’s a great series, and I enjoyed every episode. But I’m confused - the DVDs contain 30 episodes, but there are 45 episodes. Why are not all the episodes on the DVDs? I read a list of the episodes and realize that I didn’t see many scenes because they are not on the DVD. Perhaps they are only available for streaming? The episodes where Nati’s mother died, Amir & Yifat are in love, Hodaya has a radio show - they are not on the DVDs, although I played them on the computer and the DVD-player.

I definitely remember Nati's mother dying when I streamed off Amazon Prime Video. I'm sorry to hear they weren't on the DVD.

I watched every single episode. The series as a whole was excellent. My one criticism is that while every segment of Israeli society was represented, the charedim were not. (Yifat’s bosses barely had anything) it would have been better to have such a character appear.

@@jourikvink5197 Yes! I watched Shtisel for the first two seasons. I began to watch season 3, but I got tired of the Haredim. I live in Rockland New York, so I can look out my window and see plenty of Haredim.
