SS Bakery. klinkerwerks and Funk Bunker , Sachsenhausen.

Moving away from the SS barracks and Bathhouse, I travel the short distance to have a look at what is left of the SS bakery, Brickworks and an odd naming communications Bunker call Karo Ass. Nothing much left of any of these buildings, so I decided to link what footage that I took into one movie. It gives you an insite of what went on here in the 1930/40s. Thanks for watching !!

Excellent. when you see the mindless contemporary graffiti of sieg heil and the hakenkreuz in the bunkers/buildings etc of these sites you realise why we need to still keep this alive. Your coverage of the gay murders was also poignant. x

Good morning Fan. When I see that sort of graffiti I often think that whoever wrote it don't understand the significance of those words 😪. Neo nazis tried to burn down one of the buildings in nearby sachenhousen, so the custodians of the camp merely covered the damage up with perspex to show that hate crime still exists today 😪. As for the gay victims, in Germany it was much more acceptable in that country compared with the UK , ( which was illigal) however if you have absolute power (SS) then you are judge, jury and executioner all in one. Whatever gender you are, we are all human. ❤️. Thanks for watching and commenting
