Yvette Fielding sends Glen Hunt to the haunted Towneley Hall, where a spectre in white is said to roam. Meanwhile, Karl Beattie and Stuart Torevell climbed aboard the majestic SS Great Britain in Bristol, a historic steamship that is said to be haunted by its former crew and passengers.

I love this show and have followed it from the beginning. Thank you so much for sharing on KZbin, it made our Halloween! But....please bring back the mediums, for me it has lost it's shine without them. I believe you would get more results as the mediums not only provide context and meaning for the viewers, they validate the spirits beyond a few disconnected phenomena and I feel they are also able to communicate with the energies there and they are more likely to come forward - they are called 'mediums' for a reason. I've just been watching this, and at around 41:24 Karl asks for them to move something else, and a noise comes from the other end of the table. When Karl gets up to that area, at 41:43, a serviette looks like it has been slightly tugged out of the ring. All the other serviettes are neatly rolled in the rings. I don't think Karl noticed it. Probably not a big deal, but thought I'd mention it.

Much more "believable" now Derek is no longer part of this show. I say believable, but I dont actually believe a lot of it. Wood and metal contracts and expands with temperature change. There are draughts, creaks, knocks and groans in old buildings, naturally. They do at times make a whole deal over nothing that is obviously a natural noise. But yet I still watch, regardless of my scepticism. They seem like a likeable bunch, even Kath/Cath the screamer. I guess it is what it is, you go in a unlit place, it seems spooky, youd probably scare yourself more over the thought of what could be there, than actually what is there. I would probably run away screaming or pee myself at the first noise, so I cant really say much

I am of the same opinion. Although, I would say that although someone's belief differs from oneself doesn't mean that they are ignorant. It is an opinion. Karl, Yvette and the rest of the team work really hard bringing us Most Haunted. I've enjoyed most haunted fro many many years but I view it as "entertainment". I do not believe in ghosts or anything like that. I have an opinion on flying chairs, sound, doors shutting etc but i shall keep It to myself out of respect for others beliefs. After all, its just my opinion. :)
