This will affect the rectifier performance significantly, which is already positioned behind the engine and takes heavy toll on longevity. If we can reroute the rectifier to the front and position it parallel to the oil cooler; than this is an awesome exhaust with great sound. I liked the one without DB killer.

Welcome to the never ending cycle which is only aesthetically pleasing and doesn't really translate to any real world changes. Free flow exhausts make your bike more noisy and also run lean because of a lack of back pressure. You'll have to compensate the drop in chamber gases by adding a high flow air filter. By doing that, you now have more air and less fuel. In comes fuel booster or fuel controller to readjust the mixture levels. All this is too hard for your ecu to understand coz the RE ecu isn't very smart to adjust to these changes automatically. You therefore need to go for an ecu remap(if you have someone trained for it and lot of cash) or Piggyback ECU. How much of a gain do you think you've achieved and more importantly was it worth it? Hence, the first point of it being aesthetically pleasing and does not transfer to real world power. Oh wait, did I forget to mention that doing all this will largely impact the engine life- Simply coz your engine was not made to run that way. This is just a piece of advice and I respect you putting in the effort to learn all this through experience. Ride safe and ride safe ❤️

Mate, you have more knowledge than alot of youtubers out there and I respect that. I have a question, let's say I install a red rooster exhaust, stick to the stock airfilter and get a remapped ecu (tuned to the bike as is with the new exhausts) will the bike run the way it's supposed to? As in would the ecu make the air fuel ratio accurate? Would I risk damaging the engine life? Because damn. The aftermarket exhausts sound so damn beautiful like a symphony to the ears. Hope you share your knowledge with me and advice me to your best. Thank you!

Trying to mimic the exhaust note of an inline-3 or inline-4 engine is never possible by owning parallel-twin engine motorcycle. In fact, It makes your engine a lot more challenging to maintain. So I strongly suggest you get a good quality aftermarket exhaust rather than relying on this kind of exhaust. When you hear the original sound of any performance bike you will feel the sense of adrenaline rushing to your body. But when I hear this kind of exhaust note, I feel overwhelmed and disgusted by the sound made by your bike. This absolutely doesn't feel like Harley Davidson at all. I'm a big fan of RE 650 twins. Please don't downgrade the name of these. But liked the video.

Too bad Enfield couldn't make a V-twin. A parallel twin will never sound as good as a V Twin. Even among cars, V6, V8 engines sound way better than inline 4s and 6s. Especially American V8 muscle cars. Dodge Challenger 5700 cc Hemi V8 anyone? :-). The best sounding machine on 4 wheels.
