Another point on the bromance question, if you ask average indians, they would mostly never call it bromance because its just how friendship is, still to this day, and there's nothing that we feel ashamed about when it comes to that, so even though many reviewers called it homoerotic and bromance, for us its just pure, strong, unadulterated friendship.

@1:45 OMG i have been saying since june that it is not just Indians in the US, or friends of the Indians, it's just us. i wonder why it was so hard for India to believe that at first?

Some Indians especially Tamilians, trolled RRR due to insecurities and envy towards "Tollywood" Industry (Telugu)
@shelly_lee2 жыл бұрын
@@mnjssm2013 the only Tamilian I have heard of is that Sexy Tamil Friend from Grey Man and i seriously don't think he has hate for anything "Tollywood". to those who trolled or hated 😡shame on you and stop interfering with our fun in the US.

@@shelly_lee It's just fan wars on social media, normal people don't know and don't care about stuff like that.
@shelly_lee2 жыл бұрын
@@gamerdude3126 you are not looking at the correct metric. 'fan wars' may contribute to the total digital impressions or cause something to go viral (#RRRforOscars) for instance; but that is not all that is not a complete way to measure the popularity of an artist in the USA. look at the results, take me for instance. i found out about RRR through an american. i told 100s of non Indian americans about this movie. word of mouth, i know. look at the recent sell out screenings, the audience is made up of about a third of first time watchers. this is evidence of incremental growth to the US fan base. btw, almost all of my news about SSR and RRR comes from hollywood now, not India. normal people may not follow the social media news but you cannot deny that the impressions that are growing with we in the united states. and before you can say 'yes but this is part of a marketing campaign to get hollywood's attention' i would answer, yup and it's freaking working. all that does is get the trial (first time viewers) what i see is happening is the repeat which means the marketing is working .🙂

@@shelly_lee My bad I should have explained more clearly, I was talking about telugu fans and tamil fans trolling each other on social media.

Absolutely! It's NOT mythology. It's itihasa which literally translates to "As it happened". Many people mistake Hindu itihasa to mythology for a lack of better English adaptation
