We have all heard of the shipwrecks like Titanic etc, but just within sight of our coastline events like this happened. Thanks for your comments

There's no Port at Sandon Point. If large seas were due they probably had no choice but to leave. All the local jetties around here eventually got smashed to pieces by storms.

That they did...Coalcliff jetty stopped loading after a number of ships were almost lost. One was the Undola which later foundered off Garie Beach. I"ll cover that in an upcoming chapter..
