I've never seen that Flemish visor cap before. That was actually pretty cool
@mrnexus8seven94918 күн бұрын
The Waffenfarbe colour was, as I understand it from reading it up, changed to white for all branches in the later years of the war. So regardless of what your shoulder boards' colour was, the cap's became just white for all ranks. I suppose that was for ease of manufacture as materials became scarcer, it was easier to just produce them using one colour. Very interesting video.

Spectacular Germanic SS Vlaanderen cap. You had some fine SS items for sale and as far as I know always great originals. I am a bit concerned with the pricing developments of SS items with Benelux dealers, which are getting out of hand. Increasing prices on specificly very basic items (like Danziger skulls) will stabilize the price hence forth and will limit the influx of a new generation of collectors. It is difficult to bring this topic up within the collecting community in general.

I think that’s a very weak reply? This hobby has become a very wealthy man’s pastime. We are talking tens of thousands of pounds. It was never this way 30 years ago when I started collecting. I believe that dealers are becoming more and more greedy because they know the right collector (the middle aged man with lots of money) will pay the money, it’s a simple as that. I’ve bought from this man but I would never purchase any SS visor caps from him is way too expensive and this is just pure greed!!!

Thank you for keeping the memory and heritage alive of these brave men that served what they believed to be the right thing to do. What some of the SS did was shameful but %99 of these guys had nothing (directly) to do with the slaughter or an innocent demographics of peoples. Thanks for what you do god bless you

I have a enlisted RZM RZM ALLGEMEINE cap. It has the SS stamp under the brim, large SS Logo in the center and the RZM label dated 1935. It has a repurposed political Eagle. This practice was common to save money. The eagle is original to the hat as there are no others holes.

Yes we once sold a Waffen-SS visor also with original applied NSDAP style eagle. It happend, also with normal Wehrmacht eagles.
