What does Heretic saccing cultists do? Knowledge points?

I either get a construct, blade, healing focus, or nothing. I think I sometimes get some knowledge points. oh also it instantly evaporates the culties body so thats a huge bonus

Prevents them from ending the game by summoning nar'sie, also makes the entire rest of the station love you. If a cult is getting out of control, sec might be willing to straight up feed you the RD if you'll get rid of them. I've watched a round where the cult had killed all the command staff except captain, so the captain promoted a fire heretic to head of security, had him sacrifice the old HoS body to ascend, and torch the entire cult mid summoning ritual.
