I'm not the mapper, but I'm pretty sure the space behind med with the clown room is supposed to be a Psych Ward (because the clown never ever makes anything worse).

my personal biggie with this station is that it feels way more rough for antag shenanigans like why is sec, bridge and hop all cramped together in the same hallway, which doesnt connect to anywhere and is way less casual to walk by cappy room has double reinforced walls and the det office is right besides it, and stuff like ce office or botany being suuuuper exposed to public view is sucky, way harder to break into/grow gatfruit but yeah at least the perma is peak x33

People love to hate on Oasis on Wizden, but you gotta admit it's absolutely beautiful visually AND the unique perma OUTSIDE the station is amazing.

Say what you will about the rest of the station, but I do like the idea of Perma being its own little island away from the main station. Gives prisoners a nice, large area to roam in that doesn't necessarily require frequent checkups because in order to get out of it and back to the station safely the prisoner's going to have to have both proper EVA protection, a means to maneuver in space, and a way to get there in the first place - and that's assuming the hypothetical prisoner is trying to do it themselves, it'd take a similar amount of prepwork with more coordination for someone outside to attempt a break-in.

During a revs game, I was a CE me and my eng team bolted and electirfied most of the department and placed all the valuables in the bar and stayed there. I know how the bar is 99% useless but there was one time it was really nice.

I really like Oasis, it reminds me a lot of how maps were designed for RP focused servers like Bay or Polaris on ss13. It's my favorite for the longer rounds on the wizden RP server or whenever no antags get rolled on secret. Big rooms and all the shuttle stuff ready to go means you can play around with systems you normally can't in a regular round. I do think though that it has a similar problem to Train where if antags or meteors cause enough structure damage it becomes way too hard to get anything done without a space suit, or get one in the first place.

To me the dorms like area behind Medical looks like some kinda of inpatient relaxation place. A place that patients can go to relax but still be monitored by medical staff. I think the connection the clown has is a way for clown to pay a visit to the patients to cheer them up. The extra bedroom could be for visitations from friends or family to stay. Obviously this all doesn't really fit into an average spacestation shift so it kinda is just there and a big area that goes unused.

The engi bar isnt even fully private, anyone can walk into it through maints, that door isnt access locked, I've seen antags use it to catch engi off guard when they dont know that its a public room
