I was in here!! This was a fun round and TERRIFYING as a crew member. The nukies took forever to get on-station, and i remember not seeing a single one myself until around 30 minutes in. This was later at night (iirc) and had a low-ish pop , so the crew was smaller than usual. I was the only scientist and made two anomalies to rush security technologies, but no one found the anomalies for a long time. Had no clue until watching this now that one of the nukies picked up my anomaly

Colonel Orion, ert leader here. It was a very fun round. 1 its not speed boots just the ce magboots. 2. we got spawned in about id say 2 mintues before the nuke was armed. But we had to ftl To the station. I then spent a soild minute flying around trying to find a working dock that wasnt bolted. If we were faster and i just went straight to bridge i think we could have disarmed but eh it happens. As the ert leader i realized. ERT GETS WAY TOO LITTLE AMMO, I only had a lecter and 2 lethal mags of it. Whats even stranger is that the ert comes with a spare 35.auto pistol mag..But no fucking pistol????? So i ran out of ammo so fuckin fast. Anyway yeah fun round.

On a side note if you want a really good delta-v nuke ops/war ops round. Heres the round number. Its on apoapsis, round number 16129. The pitch "MOUSE OPPSSSSSS"

I was the commander this round! It was really fun, a few answers for you. 1st, we (I) thought there were salvs on that wreck, which is why we stopped. Our plan was to use our ship as a hit and run style tactics, which worked a bit, that hardsuit on station was from one of our monkeys that got thrown from that wreck and miraculously managed to end up at the station. And on Delta, ERT always hits hard, so the second we heard they were coming we ALL pulled back. Most fun and effective NukeOps team I've ever had, was an incredible time. And the Agent had spare TC, so after they went down I went ahead and bought a reinforcement to replace them lol.

Also ERT on Delta is generally only used when the Nukies are stalling the round as a way to force it to end. Though in cases like this where EVERYONE is down, it can also be fun!

Operative Uniform here I was a reinforcement and all I had was blood red mags, north stars, three combat knives, and whatever gun I stole from the crew For most of the time, my job was to make sure salvage didn't steal our thrusters after the agent exploded I took their shit and became the agent That gun at the end was a "universal" which shoots 45 magnum

I was in this round! I was the Nukies Personal AI, I spent most of my time making sure the nukies were hydrated- and attempted to take care of the infected Nukie. Unfortunately, we were not able to find a chimp to heal him, and I had to be with him in his final moments as he gibbed. An amazing round, where I had no idea what I was doing. I called it that you were gonna watch this round! Thank you for covering it!

the snake biting the nukies at 10:13 is actually bad for the crew, we think. That looked to be Silvia, which is CMO's pet. She has omnizine venom which, is not the most useful in a fight.

It is implemented, but the AI core is not present on any of the maps. They're waiting for wizden to actually make a finished role, because AI is kinda not done at all yet.

New purchases for nuclear operatives: (declare war) 12 laser swords; 11 non-slip boots; 7 human reinforcements; 1 emag ID card; 7 lobbyist kits (210,000 credits), 1 c4. Plan: fly to cargo, steal order console, fly to trading post, buy the best advanced medkits (+ choke kits) and WT 550 (each + spare clips). And now that there are 12 of us and each has a laser sword and WT 550 (good stuff, can only be used in 1 hand), we can go for a walk around the station (the main thing is to walk together)

More like they made the ore processor nerf less harsh. Of all things to nerf salvage, the ore processor should not be one of them, hell you want to incentivize mining.

God I love this series. Very good way to examine the current meta. Although I dont really appreciate how nukies always forces everyone in a non combat job to toss aside whatever they were doing and contribute to the war effort. It kinda derails the round imo

Well, arming a nuke really derails a round, so if the goal of the game mode is to arm the nuke then you might as well comply and help derail it from the start Of course if your job is more important than dying fighting the nukies you can just stick to working until you die in a nuclear blast

When it's not warops, honestly I just stay in botany and 'trust' that Security will handle it until the nuke is armed. I might get myself some EVA and protection, but I keep working til that countdown starts. (usually rushing any meds I haven't made or pumping omnizine) Most times, nukies see me working, tell me to stay there, and keep walking.

Delta V has nukies cant gun down crew that aren't actively assisting the command/sec. But literally marrooning someone in space is all fine and dandy? I hope they had a jetpack and a handheld mass scanner. And if not i'd hope an admin would see that and not think "good roleplay" for effectively round removing someone, and at least supply them with a jetpack and scanner.

I may be wrong here, but I believe I recall space wind was once on Wizden, but was removed at some point.

I'm not sure about now, but a few months ago DeltaV's codebase philosophy had some major disagreements with WizDen's philosophy. We were holding off on implementing the stupid grid inventory for a long time, but because (from what I can understand) no one on WizDen coding effort heard about interface classes and instead hard coded a ton of shit into the code, progressively making it harder and harder to merge with WizDen, the DeltaV maintainers caved in and allowed gridinv into the codebase. I left shortly after and there was some kind of admin shortage shortly after I did, and I am yet to see a person I recognise on the server now that I am playing again... So, yeah.

Most of the time when you see a fork with a feature that wizden used to have, the fork just skipped the revert commit. Actually, in the case of space wind it might just be a CVAR to enable it, but I could be wrong about that. The majority of the time features are removed from wizden it is because the code was very bad.

As someone who started playing on delta-v i find the wizden pallet ugly. It is most likely a "i started here so this is good looking" kinda thing.

It's entirely subjective. Both are good in their own right, but if we're to be real for a minute, 95% of Space Station 14 has fuck-ugly levels of looks. It only doesn't seem that way in the moment, because we are well used to the graphics not being the center piece of the show.

@@Liltenhead I'm just a Delta-V hater. But in my honest experience playing, it's usually "nothing happens for 90 minutes, then you leave" on Traitor mode, which is the standard mode. Nukies tends to make things more interesting and exciting, but usually because Security is made up of roleplayers, and the Nukies tend to have little combat experience too, it's usually a disaster.

@@Liltenhead one in a million round, main gamemode is traitors, which the traitors aren't allowed to do anything that doesn't strictly help them complete their objective, zombies are more common but are almost always boring since delta has more energy weapons and has them roundstart, nukeops is so rare that when it does happen most of the nukies don't know what they're doing, even if they've played the server for a long time, revs are gone, and survival had the weights adjusted so that nothing interesting spawns before like an hour and thirty minutes

DS is typically only reserved for when the entirety of command are shitters and they need to reset the round in a fun way. If you see a DS, somebody is getting banned.
