funfact: the main productor of the game didnt like this theme so he ask to remove it, but everyone else on the staff loved the psylock theme, so the theme kept and it was very successful

Funfact 2: Tsuge from Megaman X2 also hated the Flame Stag stage theme and asked the team to cut it, but that's the favourite theme of all the team and no one removed it and verbally thrashed him, that's in the same year as the X-men game was produced

It was produced at the same time as Megaman X2. Both are gaming jewels.

@@yorch5d I knew it. Capcom had their B-Team work on Megaman X2 while their Main Team worked on the original Megaman X and Mutant Apocalypse. The soundtracks were so rich and detailed and the sequels were a huge downgrade. Megaman X2 had OK soundtracks but was a significant downgrade compared to the intensity and passion of Megaman X. Even the Password Theme in the 1st game was a full song and in X2 it's literally a 3-second loop. The same thing happened with Mutant Apocalypse's 'sequel' - War of the Gems. It came out 2 years later and was a HUGE downgrade in the soundtrack department. There's no doubt in my mind they had their B-Team work on that game as well.

The hardest part is when after wins from giant robot sub-boss, the platform will falls while there are so many bunch enemies on it. One mistake and everything is over. I'm using so many jump kick and slide dash here :D

Butt Bounce & Leg Sweep are your friends. Especially when they come at you from both sides. Lure them close, Butt Bounce off one and springboard to an enemy on the other side. By the time you're arcing back toward the first enemy he should be standing back up. Rinse and repeat until all the soldiers have died by Psylocke's magnificent ass, and use her leg sweep if you whiff a Butt Bounce to give yourself space..
