This video is based on the out of the box questions asked in SSB interview. SSB interview is the process which is designed to test the candidate's psychology and the ability to work under stress. The whole process tests for congruency in your responses at various levels and under various responses. There have been some instances where a candidate has been asked weird questions in the interview and the conference. While he wonders why and tries to figure out the answer, the assessors test how he is approaching the answer and his attitude to reach a conclusion logically.
Service Selection Board interviews are a six day process, in which your personality is monitored and matched with the suitability of joining the forces. If you are suitable you are recommended otherwise not. We tend to hear different theories about this interview from different sources. People getting recommended have different opinions, and those not getting recommended have yet another opinion. Before going for SSB you try to collect as much of information regarding it as possible. And thus you hear different versions of SSB stories from different sources. Here we will focus on understanding how different SSB interview is? To begin with, SSB is not a normal job interview where you have to study your head off in order to crack it. SSB is different.
It hardly checks your knowledge; it just checks your suitability for the forces. This suitability is not entirely based on your knowledge. You can thus say that SSB is a multidimensional interview. It checks your entire personality. Secondly SSB is not the basis of judging you, whether you are good for doing something in your life or not, it just checks your suitability for the forces. In SSB interview your personality is under continuous supervision. Each aspect is observed minutely and closely. You can take an idea from the fact that you are checked in every aspect. You are checked for the basic aptitude of an officer in the screening tests, you are checked for your thoughts in the psychological testing. You are checked for your physical fitness and group behavior in the Ground Tests. You are checked individually in the interview with the Interviewing Officer. The people in the board are very experienced and efficient bunch of people. They can easily catch you if you are lying.
The take away is that no matter what question is posed to you, it is all just to make sure how well you can take stress while still being logical and giving reasons to your answer. So, try to be more reasonable and practical in your approaches. But, this is not all; an interviewing officer can ask anything under the sun, you might face shocking questions from the interviewing officer. There are few questions discussed in this video which you might feel different because you will face such questions during SSB interview only. Also, these questions are being asked just to check some qualities in you, one should not take any question lightly and try to speak truth as much as possible.

Answer to question 10 Father, now i am in a national duty and i think that every thing happening anywhere can wait. Tell mother that i am fine and i will soon visit her at home. And i thik in the border areas in J&K the use of internet is not well developed so i will talk to my mother by the landline for a while,

Jai hind mam My answer will be.. Being the solider ,we get two mothers. But in this situation both are much more important. But first, I look out the situation where I am posted..if there is better then I will try at my best to convince my commanding officer for leaves. If I'm unable to get leaves due to anything any reason. I will contact my mother through video call and tell my family to take care her.Then later on, if I get the 1-2 days leaves I will visit her and I love her. Firstly, I will look for the situation of the area where I am posted. If everything is fine there, I will try my level best to convince my Commanding Officer for leave since my mother and father are integral and important part of my life and they have made me capable to take care of themselves. But if I am unable to get leave due to some certain reasons, I will connect to my mom through video call and also I will tell my family members to take care of her and to opt for the best option available for her treatment.

First of all mam, at any cost I can't able to denied my CO orders. All though I am trying to convince my CO , rather then that still if he/she will not allow me to go , also my mother condition is getting worse day by day , then I will approach to the senior of my CO , as we know there is a channel of rank / post in Indian Armed Forces .
