ESAM is by no way a Top 10 or even 15 in Melee, I don't think any serious Smasher from any of the games says he is, but he *is* a pretty good player and a very unique Samus.... heck, he started the set with a lot of presence with his unique rushdown Samus and a lot of unusual Samus combos.... before he backed off and tried to play a projectile game for some reason. He deserves a lot more respect than he gets from the Melee community because "meh, Sm4sh kancer sux"....

When aMSa ledge stalls, everybody loves it. They want him to do it more When Hbox does it, people riot! Why? Just saiyan. I love aMSa, I really do, but this guy gets too much credit just cuz he play's Yoshi.

As a Yoshi main I can say that Egg stalling is much, much harder then it looks. There could be a few reasons; maybe people understand that every egg throw he does, there's a good chance he could screw it up by a couple frames and fall to his doom. (although I doubt people know that) Or...it's just much more entertaining to look at...and some people hate H-Box for some reason.

Well, when aMSa ledge stalls, there's a definitive purpose involved with his egg game, and that's to add on percent, whereas when Hbox ledge stalls, its just to slow down the game, and make the opponent have to go in, unless of course, they decide to do the optimal thing, and not approach, which slows down the game considerably.

it was the fact that he angled the up b into the wall, killing the momentum and allowing him to sweetspot. Before I started going to tournaments, a lot of the little things were lost on me as well, but there are actually so many things that are much more skillful than they look. Edit: Sometimes I actually watch things over in .25 speed just to see what's actually happening
