14:31 Classic commentators not knowing that Corrin's charged F-Smash on shield is inescapable with conventional options at high percents. The buzzsaw catches the roll startup frames (1-3) that aren't invincible, catches jump, shield pokes after a while, and breaks shield if you adjust your shield's angle to prevent a shield poke. Your options for escaping are to drop shield and SDI up while praying to God that the Corrin player doesn't react fast enough so you can escape, have a frame 1 escape option, or shield SDI away. In Tweek's case, since he doesn't use PT anymore, his only options were to SDI or Shield SDI. And I don't know why anybody would think to shield SDI before doing a regular SDI in a high tensity situation with a character you don't typically fight this late in bracket.

What's "shield SDI" ?

@@ngotemna8875 "Shield SDI" is the act of wiggling your shield in a certain way to manipulate where your character slides while in shield stun. If you hold both block buttons, you'll be able to move your shield freely without accidentally rolling or spot-dodging. After that, you can constantly mash your stick in a certain direction to slide either toward or away from your opponent. If you don't have two block buttons, holding your block and special buttons will work as well (Unless you're a character that has a mechanic tied to the block and special button like Steve or Inkling)

Normally you can roll after taking ±11 multi-hits on shield and you'll be intangible from frame 1. But i've heard that it straight up doesn't work with Corrin's Fsmash and some other moves. Is that true or BS ?

Just two weeks before Super Smash Con, Tweek 3-0ed SHADIC with Diddy at Smash Factor X. While visibly under the weather from some illness. Just the day before this set, the Saturday, SHADIC 5-0ed Neo in an Kamui ditto exhibition match. What the hell happened here? Now I'm calling into question how much people value head to heads over being able to defeat different players when considering "who's the best". SSC 2023 is filled with all kinds of anomalies. But hey, it was a GOOD weekend to be a Corrin fan in Smash. LY reminded Spargo of the "Welcome to Japan" meme by showing up and sending him to losers with Corrin. Shadic went on a crazy run, and Neo had one of the most exciting sets of Ultimate history taking on Acola in a runback. All of these happenings just in time for her Brave alt being revealed the night of this post (Mon. 8/14/2023). Well done MK (Master of Kamui ) Neo!

Honestly I just don't think ditto matches matter for which player is the best at a certain character. Neo was ranked #33 on LumiRank while Shadic was outside the top 100. Neo also outperformed SHADIC in bracket here. If character dittos were what mattered, Max Ketchum would be the best s4 Captain Falcon for beating Fatality in the ditto.

It's a well known phenomenon in fighting games that dittos are not indicative of hwo is better at the character. Tweek is a perfect example, losing pt ditto to leffen and Diddy ditto to Aaron.

Corrin doesn’t have a designated way of killing with her aerials? “Back air’s kind of a weird move to space” Corrin’s back air is one of the best back airs in the game overall and easily one of the best killing back airs. corrin was garbage before their buffs literally had next to no good kill moves that arent hard callouts and missing aerial pin was a death sentence buffing nair, up air, pin, and some of their other moves really pulled them up but that character was undoubtedly bottom tier beforehand

@@enemyskill4286 it’s hard for her to get in, she’s slow so most of her ranged attacks get beaten out by sephiroth. It’s really easy to edgeguard corrin with down air since it directly hits corrins hurtbox and counter off stage while she recovers is an instant stock.
