In 2022 there were approximately 37k posts, in which more than 25k posts were PA/SA, TA, and posts like UDC etc.. so atleast 70-80% of those 25k would've written cgl 23 and to their surprise cutoff went very high i.e, 151 and then for 2024 they might have studied very hard keeping 150 as their target and there might be a big chunk of them who had cleared this time, and also not to forget the 2023 issue where the case is still pending in HC-Delhi so from those selected 7k candidates atleast 85-90% could've written the exam again, and also this time the exam is not that much tough, same pattern, same type of questions and I myself am a fresher who started preparing for the exam from late march 2024 and I got 155 Raw in one of the tougher shifts(5th hardest as per RBE) And also not to mention the cutoff increase is visible only in GENERAL Category which indirectly indicates many repeaters wrote the exam again for various reasons as I told above.
