And password and then fill this information on right side of the website i.e apply here section.....choose the post as per your engineering branch only and place them in sequence of your choice. Gajraj... Before 2-3 years cutoff was around 110 for general. But now days it's above 140

Gajraj.....in ESE exam the selection will be based on your total marks, but in SSC it is like elimination rounds...first you have to clear prelims (general cutoff 140/200approx) and if qualified then allowed to give mains (general cutoff 150/300approx)

Sir, promotion on the basis of seniority is 10 years. But we can't get promotion via departmental exam early before 10 years as it happens in SSC chsl cgl etc. Please reply

Yes....by departmental exam only will get promotion, but it will take minimum 10-12 years for getting 2 promotions junior engineer, senior section engineer etc. To reach at the level of IES.(even though JE will not get some facilities of IES in his entire lifetime)

Responsibility and work load will be much more in IES as compare to JE....but the level of competition of exam will be much lower in JE than IES.

Birajit.....you were eligible before last notice of SSC which came just now. Document Varification is there on 1st Jan in which candidates have to show there passing degree certificate.....sry for that, try next year.
