Before declaration of the final result, all the candidates appearing in Paper-II would be
required to submit Option-cum-Preference for post(s)/department(s) for which they would like to be considered. For this purpose, a tab/link shall be provided on the login portal of such candidates and the tab/link would be activated for a few days, the information about which would also be notified on the website of SSC (Headquarters) and its Regional/ Sub-Regional Offices. Accordingly, all the candidates appearing in Paper-II are advised to keep a close watch on the website of the Commission for further updates in this regard and to mandatorily exercise their Option-cum-Preference through their respective ‘Candidate Login’ when the tab/link is activated so that their candidature can be considered for the final
merit list / final selection in aforesaid examination
