If anyone is just starting out with their preparation then start with bank. Complete the syllabus and start practicing then cover the rest of the topics that is left for ssc. Trust me on this the only difference in ssc is the GS. If you are done with bank preparation you just need to cover GS rest you are already prepared for. But yes it's easier said than done. Try it out yourself and strategise accordingly.

Banking needs a holistic preparation in english language proficiency.And quantitative aptitude is one of the major subjects .Coping with banking is tougher than ssc but the selection process in ssc is bit slow even without an interview I guess

Sir in terms of salary, i would like to differ from what you have stated in this video. I'm currently working as a SO(IT) IN BOM. I joined in June 2024. The current in hand salary is 73000/- plus 21K for House rent apart from medical allowance which u have already mentioned in the video! So it sums up to be 94K in hand! So I guess in terms of salary and perks as well, Bank is ahead of SSC.

You will be a skilled person after working 4-5 years in a Bank, you can leave and start a startup or there are very great opportunities in the private sector too. If you want to do a job life time. With low growth. SSC is good. While talking about salary. talk about the CTC not in hand PO CTC is about 14 lakh and SBI PO CTC is 16-17 lakh per annum way more than the SSC top grade Pay, and way faster promotions.
