@T0R0RIKI Well said. It's just... fuudo reacts to the crowd. He gives a cheeky smile when he knows he made a big play, like at 3:20. As you said about taking a video game for real, a player should have fun regardless of win/lose, hence why he's my favorite to watch because you know for fact he's having the time of his life when the crowd cheers.

@Valorios As a Seth player myself, I do understand him. Seth's Shoryuken is the best in the game, I tend to use him at any possibility, even more often then Poongko does, and I agree it is unsafe, for most time it works because a lot of players are agressive and think you will block instead of shoryuken, but there are bastards who mostly sit in block and wait for an opening, these like to punish shoryu a lot.

@Mesarphelous Actually he was struggling to find his character in AE...until a japanese player named Aqua, recommended Fuudo to try Fei Long. Fuudo said the character suited him very well since he isn't a very aggressive character.

@Anime4Life35 that's what fuudo is supposed to do cos thats what balances seth, his hp, or else he's broken. cant have it both ways. the fight is fought at seth's pace, and he's hell to defend against. its how the match-up against seth was designed to be, so all power to fuudo, even daigo couldnt do it

@kongchho Doesn't work quite as well as it did in SSF4. AE the invincibility is a little shorter so at certain distances/with certain moves you can just mash it out.

@zack19891 that is why Fei has a great advantage in this match, you have to be on point almost every time against Fei, otherwise you eat a 600dmg ultra..he has an insanely good backlash and dash as well. Superb focus attack and 3 frame jabs/short, flame kick, CW and command grab. Fei's damage output to risk return is so good that, this match up is definitely in Fei's favor...

having an arcade stick can help, especially if you will play a character which has "piano" techniques like Chun-Li's Lightning Legs. But besides that, you don't, but imho, it's a lot more fun to play with an arcade stick simply because of the nostalgia

@darrynjay It's not BS. Seth can "easily" do a 17 hit combo repeatedly. His vitality isn't the same as various other characters, it's less. You trade defense for offense, having strong stats on both would mean anyone using Seth would have too much of an advantage, there's something called "balance" you know. Poongko also lost to Fuudo in EVO 2011, so it's not luck. It's skill.

@TheJuggernautpunch if you watch every match poongko plays, poongko throws this shoryuken like crazy, many are really unsafe (not enough meter to fadc) but he's lucky that the it alway hits, because the opponent fucked up

@zhxwin Well it's more of a gamble really. Seth is a 50/50 type of character, that's why you see Poongko perfect alot of player's with him. The thing is you can't play the patient game with Seth. Seth Having the lowest health in the game won't last him forever in these type of matches, added the fact Rekka punish mostly everything( stretchy arm punish?!?) All fuudo have to do is anticipate then attack.

Fei Long's Ultra is an automatic death to Seth. That's a huge disadvantage for Poongko. He has NO room for error. If you take a look at the EVO matches, Fuudo lands an Ultra when Poongko had 60% power left and DIED. Looks like Fuudo (and possibly Combofien's Guy) have Poongko's number.

@TheChillOne1 Dude, I watched Fuudo vs Poongko on Evo, Fuudo only won because Poongko did some stupid things, like random Shouryken or that idiotic backdash in the corner. Poongko was clearly dominating him. Again, I am not telling that anyone with Fei can take EVO, but character stats play a very important part, especially if fighters are of equal skill. Poongko has the skill to beat Fuudo, and playing Fei Long doesn't take as much as playing Seth, especially current Seth.
