It was Dieminion that pressed it. There's the initial screen at 22:23 which shows someone synced to 2. Then at 23:21 and 23:47 Krone pressed it quickly, it shows P1 and battery information which makes sense for Krone's pad, the PS3 sees it as a plugged in pad. Then the last time at 24:01 is Dieminion, which is what Ski was talking about when he comes back to the mic, this shows a controller synced to player 2

So pardon my ignorance, buy why does the bracket reset after the first best-of-five and then the winner of the second best-of-five take the championship? I must be missing something but it looks like the first best-of-five counts for nothing.

look at the top right once the ps button was pressed. it says 2p. do you even own a ps3?

Must have been someone else. Krone uses a ps2 pad which obviously doesn't have a home button. When home was pressed it said p2. Then later when dieminion pressed home a few times to check, home said p1. At least that's how I see everything.

Because Dieminion is a one-trick pony. He can't adapt. A player who neutralizes his fireball game wins the match. Dieminion's a one-trick pony in SFIV and he's a one-trick pony in UMVC3.

No actually look back, the initial pause showed controller 2 as the pauser. When they had Dieminion test it the second time to see if the game still said 1P pause it came up with controller 1. So krone was synced to controller 2 in the playstation setup and he did the pause.
