This was such a hype set, I wish I saw it live. I was just yelling YO SMUG with that stylish moment just before eleven minutes. I got to play with Smug at the NEC ultra test area my Deejay vs his Dudley. Smug makes Dudley so scary with his ability to open a player up, it is crazy. Thank you for uploading this!

You really see shades of Sanford's Sagat in his Oni. He mostly focuses on the neutral game with normals and fireballs and uses very little of the demon slash ambiguous cross-ups and forward jump -> hadou air backdash or forward jump -> hadou air forward dash -> tatsu shenanigans. He didn't look for forward mk whiff cancel super either. Not saying he's a bad Oni (he's not), it's just interesting to see his Sagat tendencies become evident in his Oni.

My favourite example of this is when Mago switched to Yang and the habits he'd formed with Fei Long completely changed the meta of the character, from a mid-screen mix-up heavy playstyle, to more of a corner carry/corner pressure type game.

Smug may not be the King yet, but he is royalty. Big ups to Smug man. One of the hypest dudes in the business. I said this on YogaFlame's video too.....Smug.....Finish your plate! lol.

One thing I noticed about Smugs play is that he did not jump at all. I think he jumped towards the end to chase a backdash, which didn't work anyway.

Mark of a great player and confidence in the neutral. He may have failed that chased backdash with it, but that's a trademark of his and his success rate with it is high. With Dudley's low jump arc, it's a great tool.

For you guys who say you don't like lee chung, just wait till you see him more. I uaed to not like him either, I thought he was a dick. But he's cool with all these guys, he's great, he's funny and he entertains which is a good thing to do as a commentator.

One thing I've learned over the years, is that a character is only as good as the person playing him. Low tier just means you have to work harder. Dudley has his work cut out for him in this game, but Smug makes him look beast. Give him a couple more months.

Stop trying to say dudley is better than he is. Hes bottom 10 at the best. Just because he does well against Oni/Sagat etc....try using him effectively vs Guile or Honda etc.

As for lee Chung, bro I find u funny asf and the reason ppl Dnt like u, because they are use to bland ass commentary. It's dope to hear commentary from a different perspective. Keep doing wat u doin bra 👍👍 and if u watching a hood match expect the hood to commentate "behave ya self!" Lol
