Pipe these analog or ADAT into an RME interface like the Fireface UFX that records direct to a USB flash drive (DURec). Take the computer/Dante card out of the equation and you have removed another point of failure. Saved my session recently that I was piping into Logic. Near the end of a 2h40m performance, Logic crashed and I lost the last 20 min. Checked the RME DURec, and all of it was there and perfect. Indispensable IMHO.

I have the RME ufx & am thinking the same, was looking at the black lion exp I/o expansion , but for the same price I can get 4 ssl preamps. Or 2 neve pre’s with the 88m It’s a tough choice, what do you think?

This thing is a standalone USB audio interface! You can go directly into your Computer..

Couldn’t you use a DANTE adapter that hooks up to a USB-C for the 8 outs?
