I did a couple of teepee, stick supports this year and love them. I’m going to get back out there and wrap some twine around them to make even more places for the plants to grip going up.

I use 1/2 in conduit for tomatoes. 10 ft lengths with hose clamps screwed on about every 10 inches. Then add 5 ft horizontally in the clamps as vines grow.

For my tomatoes and peppers I find the best way, for me at least is the Florida weave, I put 4 foot tall wooden stakes every 4th plant and use titan twine to weave in between each plant for 2 layers then as they get bigger I wrap twine on just the outside of the plants and pull tight so they are supported.

Not sure if your area has the same issues as mine but while the leaves around the raised beds have a moisture retaining affect, they make great hiding spots for the 'no-shoulders'. Be cautious please. Also a stump and a camp axe is much faster on smaller limbs than the motorized saw. Plus it saves on high dollar fuel. In the hands of a seasoned woodsman (of which I am rusty) the job isnt even taxing physically. Very neat garden. Hope it produces well. I'm jealous of your green space.

With all of those trees the soil should be really fertile from leaf and stick debris over the years.
