Oh my gosh thank God you’re talking about this!! I know I wasn’t the only one noticing 5 to 6 videos cranked out by this one specific channel that I’m not gonna name every single day with arrows and blurred out horses saying “hurry quick” I’m talking about free star coins when she’s doing a freaking giveaway. It gets on my nerves because I want to watch actual Star Stable content not Clickbait free horse propaganda. And I’m just gonna say it right now. There is no free horse. I don’t know why she keeps putting out all of these videos, talking about a free horse and everyone’s going to get a free horse and blah blah blah even after a Star Stable publicly announced that there is no free horse.

This. 100% this. The clickbait at the minute seems stronger than ever before in our community I feel. And Im sure all of us who make videos can mutally agree - its annoying seeing these videos be praised when other stronger content is completely overlooked. It generates this "why even try" attitude periodically and is so demotivating. I appreciate the help some times - hidden redeem codes being put out there etc., but a 8-10 minute video of an 8 character redeem code? Are you serious? How are you even still yapping? And there is like... 9 of these in a row. It's actually wild. People see this method working, copy it, and suddenly there is a whole community just straight lying / clickbaiting about (half of the time) imaginary topics. I was going to make a video exactly like this and I'm so glad you have covered it before me because you nailed it. I went on a whole rant and then deleted the footage about people criticising Star Stable over literally everything and never providing constructive feedback (I thought it too harsh HA) so to see you word this so well and so maturely made me super happy. But the clickbait... I actually cannot cope anymore - it's so hard to find genuine KZbinrs who just make fun content these days. In summary, great video ♡

Pretty sure you're talking about Minatozy cuz this is exactly her 😭 everytime i see one of her thumbnails and the lenght of the video i'm completely flabbergasted how much she's capable of yapping. She literally made an almost 20 minutes long video about the old friesians leaving. I didn't want to click on it even out of curiosity what she's gonna yap about just because how absurd it is.

I'm so happy to see a video talking about this. Due to a larger SSO youtuber constantly putting FREE HORSE in their video titles during the 9 code releases in February, it caused a massive level of confusion in the community with people saying we were getting a free horse with literally zero evidence to support this claim. All because a certain youtuber decided to clickbait over and over. As soon as the codes stopped, I blocked them because I just really hate that youtuber now due to the fact that they were one of the people solely responsible for that rumor going around, in my opinion.

I know exactly who you're referencing as the clickbait thumbnails. I actually did a video over a year ago on this and spoilers... this person has not changed. I see it as very deceptive to their child-based audience as well and they don't know any better because they're kids! They'll click on it because they genuinely believe it! It's just unfortunate because I don't get genuine vibes and it is deceptive and scratching for ad revenue and clicks. Anything that tricks someone into clicking and is deceptive never sits right with me, even if it was "said differently" like "Free sc" vs. "sc code." Still deceptive marketing in the thumbnail, ya know? If there's a sc code, just SAY there's a SC code. Ya know? Thank you for taking time to talk about this! Great video

I stopped watching SSO YT due to a certain channel, due to the constant spam posting and click bait thumbnails. Moved to a different game/community and found out they have a channel in that game too. Same thing! clickbait thumbnails and tittles meanwhile on top of it they use AI ART THUMBNAILS instead of employing a thumbnail artist.

Recently, I have seen a lot more clickbait titles recently out of nowhere. It makes me really upset seeing this because I feel like this may cause more drama and confusion within the community itself. What I mean is that, say a Star Stable KZbinr named CarCat for example post a clickbait title called "5 FREE HORSES COMING SOON?!" and their fanbase clicks the video in excitement, watching it. That fanbase will now just assume they will be getting the free horses without the confirmation of Star Stable themselves. When they realize that they won't be getting the free horses, that is when drama will start happening within the community. I don't think that it is fair for anyone involved. This is just my thoughts about the situation, and I am very glad you are speaking up about the issues of click baiting. 💜

This is very true! As a Star Stable KZbinr myself I've also wanted my thumbnails to only reflect what actually happens in the video, since when other people use click bait it really bothers me. Unfortunately if click bait is what gets people views and money they probably won't stop doing it, and then of course it's not just a Star Stable community problem just an all-of-YT- problem. I've also been huge on getting straight to the point so when people turn two minutes of content into 20 minutes that gets really annoying 😂 thanks for making this video!

I'm so glad you made a video about this!!! I'm getting tired of seeing the clickbait making me feel like I'm missing something on SSO when I'm clearly not. Great video! :D A side note, in case you're curious. At least on YT, I was the first person to post the code "ISLOVEBLIND" and I made a post about it but got super overshadowed within an hour or so after posting by the larger SSO KZbinrs and they said they "didn't know where the code came from" even though I had found it two days early! I was a bit sad I wasn't credited for finding it, but I'm happy I found the clue and guessed it myself anyway! Just thought I'd throw that out there since it's kinda under this topic.

I've been thinking about this EXACT sentiment for quite a while now too, pretty much soon after I started following up on SSO content creators here on KZbin. Felt it wasn't really my place to make much ruckus about it since I'm not really looking to start conflict with anybody (most of whom are, what? 15-17 years old?); I feel like it'd be an unfair advantage on my part since I'm several years SSO's playerbase's senior lol (read: I'm too old to get personally invested into drama over this kids' game haha). Never really talked about it, never brought up specific names as I didn't want to put young creators on the hot seat and/or lead them to be bullied and harassed. I am sincerely glad that /someone/ brought this up, though. It's true, and as far as my opinion goes, the phenomenon is at best slightly annoying and at worst terribly deceptive and content/view farm-y tbh. On the topic of the new player character models, maybe I'll go back and edit this to illustrate my own thoughts on it, maybe I won't. It's kind of its own can of worms to get into given all the backlash but to keep things short and sweet, *I do sincerely love the new player character models.* Hope they'll be more malleable in the future if SSO decides to improve on the character creation mechanic such as separate customizable facial features like the eyes, lips, and nose instead of a select few head types to choose from (and though I'm not particularly masc myself, still waiting on that Male Player Character Update lol). One gripe that I certainly do have with the new player character is that a lot of the animations like the dances and riding poses don't fit too well -- there's A LOT of clipping especially when your character has longer hair and/or one of the larger figures. Hopefully it'll be fixed in due time but it's just pretty annoying lol

I completely agree! the click bait KZbinrs that exist now, used to be such amazing sso content creators, until this happened, honestly sometimes disgusts me. or the copy pasted conetent, like let’s say a spoiler comes out and that because their content for the next 2 weeks.. and also the codes, they literally need 10 minutes to get to the point, like “oh before we start to do this go do that, “ “ don’t forget to-“ just get to the point? and then it also turns out the code is expired. so sick, also may I know what shaders you use? they are stunning 💗

And all these videos of like 10,000 sc shopping sprees. Literally just buying views. I 100% agree about the clickbait, so many people do it for more views and to get more fame. I think that star stable should give out a wider variety of body types, when we have crop tops on we kind of look stiff i'd say. Maybe making a body type thats more slim, with slimmer arms and slimmer legs, for the people that dont have the current body types that were given when the update came out. I think the game is meant to change overtime or the game wouldn't be as appealing to newer players, although my opinion, they should increase the level of when you have to buy star rider, making it more fair to newer players that like the game and spend more time on it. Also, the outro was the realist thing ever.
