i just found your channel and i thought id comment on a more recent video.. id recommend looking into the jackery 1500 its a 1500 watt battery bank with 4 200 watt solar panels that could be a good substitute to running a gas generator all the time. you can just store the battery bank inside of one of your cabinets and plug in from there and throw your solar panels on the roof for day time charging that way your not really burning up gas or running a noisy generator all the time plus maintenance free of course no oul changes or air filter cleaning none of that and its fairly light like 15 pounds I think if even that

been fishing pout for years, never really thought it would become a thing. But I guess it is. My all time record is 31 fish in 80 mins done on mille lacs in 2002 on Betkers flat. was on the nest. Have fun fellers

Had a hoot in the U.P. got my first snowshoe rabbit and caught a lot of small perch. Lots of snow 30 plus inches and just couldn't get around on the lakes very well to find the bigger fish. We had a 4 wheeler but needed a snowmobile. Great learning adventure and had a lot of fun with an old friend. Stomach still hurts from all the laughing. Lol Glad we had snow shoes with us.

Such a neat fish and crazy how the mentality toward them has changed over the years. My old man has told me stories about catching them decades ago and a lot guys just threw them out on the ice to die.

Bro that is so awesome, I’ve never caught burbot before. I think there’s only a couple weeks left of ice down here we have a solid week in the 40’s so I’m hoping the ice shrinks a little so I don’t have to drill so deep with the ole hand crank auger lol 🤙🤙
@travisjacobson71262 жыл бұрын
The ice killed me, I ended up buying an very overpriced electric despite there only being less than a month left. I don’t mind the exercise, but hole hopping in 14+ inch ice did me in. 🤣
@JoeysWoodShed2 жыл бұрын
@@travisjacobson7126 dude same but I’m saving for next year. I’ve been drilling I’d say 10-20 holes in 14-18 inches of ice. It is such a horrible time by the 6th hole. It is limited how much I move. But next year I’m buying a nice one so I don’t have to suffer any longer lmao

Why do insist on keeping that fish out of the water for that long. Not very professional. If you ask me.
