Why Multiple True Religions Is Impossible - Apologetics Series - Episode 18

On today’s episode of the SSPX Podcast, we’ll continue our Apologetics Series by diving into the concept of religion itself. We’ve already seen in Episode 5 that we have to practice a religion, but now we’ll start to see what that religion needs to look like, so that it’s not just something we believe in, like a myth or a legend. What is the most fundamental principle of a religion, if it is going to be true? We’ll ask Fr. Leo Anthony Haynos, who teaches this exact topic at St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary.

Thank you!!! This is excellent!!! In other words, the statement from one Bishop "Jesus is the privileged way" goes against the very nature of God - as God stated only one way to The Father. God didn't change His mind 1,500 years later to this Truth.

Thanks so much. For me, it's very helpful. I am a late life convert to Catholicism. I was a cradle to 43 Episcopal. In that church (small "c") the belief is that almost everyone is saved. How could God exclude good people just because they are... (Muslim, Hindu, Scientologist, etc). That got me dizzy! It has taken time, but most of the time I believe Catholicism is the one totally true religion. When my mind slips back into full ecumenical nonsense, I know I have to recenter myself. Those beliefs were THEN. I have the Church's true doctrine NOW. God bless you! ✝️🙏

What pillars do, to hold up, from the foundation to the fullness of the faith. Christian denominations may lean on only two, i.e holy and apostolic, not one or catholic. A structure raised on only two pillars is fundamentally unstable. Tens of thousands of Christian denominations do not abide the apostle's succession or breadth of access to all human beings, but they do follow 66/73 books of the bible, most accept the triune God, however, all Christian 'religions' outside the Catholic Church started by Christ, are part of splintering His Church, not one, and not open and available to the worldwide/universal population, catholic. 30' re: the truth, beautifully said! This topic was so well explained. And also with polytheism... Logically speaking: if you worship many Gods and they all have different rules and demands, it is inevitable that you will offend one or the other God. So damnation is guaranteed.
