You definitely get what you pay for with this cheap suspension. Rebound is incredibly fast on the forks and rear shock and the fork seems really stiff.

what did you do for the steering stem bearings? I'm having trouble with mine not even fitting into the cylinder of the bikes frame

I had that problem too. I had to install the old steering stem into the new triple clamps so that I could use the old bearings because the new bearing are too big for the frame. A bench press would be nice to remove the steering stem but I just used a big hammer and socket.

@@kriswhite9324 if I build another one I would do that. I can tell you I used the original rear sprocket though if that helps.

Hello . I am so wanting to do this swap on my SR140TR . But I am stuck on the part where if I order the 70/100/17 and the 90/100/14 the bearing will be a different size. I think I have the 12mm bearing and if I upgrade it will come with the 15mm bearing. What can I do in that situation? Just swap bearing or …..? Thanks 😊

I bought larger bolts from the hardware store because the stock axles were for the 12mm bearings. The aftermarket fork was meant for the larger axle but I had to drill out my swing arm a little bit.

how long are those forks the 26in ones or 29in ones?

I put the bigger wheels on my SSR 125 but they didn't come with sprockets. So with my stock sprockets first gear is like a mountain goat climbing hills but second gear bogs down way too easily. I was wondering what sprockets you were running on yours?

I am running the same sprockets and noticing that as well. I think I’m going to try going up a couple of teeth on the rear sprocket.
