I’ve always loved riding quads and dirt bikes, but I’ve never had one of my own. I recently went out and bought the SR 189, and it’s perfect for my first bike. I just turned 32, I don’t have much experience on dirt bikes and I didn’t want to get something that would be dangerous for a first time dirtbike owner so I figured I’d start with a 189 and so far I love it, I can’t stop riding the thing. Really impressed with the price point and impressed with the bike all together. I’m eventually going to upgrade maybe to a 250 at some point, but this bike is everything I needed

I have about 1 hour not even on my 2021 ssr 300. Ran awesome was so impressed. Brought it home washed it out it away and the next day won't start. Getting gas and spark. Dealer said I can bring it to them in 2 weeks and they will look at it. Was impressed but damn.

Great video sir, my soon to be 11yr old son and I own 2020 SSR's 110 & 125 than he grew a couple of inches so I started looking for a bigger bike for myself and didn't realize that SSR made a 300. Great video sir. I have the SSR SR250s. I think the SSR 300's have an 82mm big bore piston kit. I just bought the 84mm bbk for mine and it was $215 for everything(piston, rings, cylinder and gaskets). That's just a reference as to how inexpensive it will be to maintain and keep this thing running. The NC250 motor is used in millions of applications overseas so it is one of the most "tried and true" motors out there. Happy riding and stay safe. God Bless!

A lot of the parts are for a 2016 crf250r. But you will have to put 2016 crf250r radiator shrouds on it to use the graphics kit. They are inexpesive and bolt right up to your factory holes and look way better

I have the egl 300 Same engine Different forks and double exhaust same as a honda These bikes if you pay close attention They do have some Japanese and high quality features features Mine has levers that bend in all directions and they are adjustable The front end is super light and they fricking hit 80mph in no time Only problem with mine is the stand tho It rubs the swing arm and destroyed my sticker

I'm thinking about picking one of these up tomorrow. Coming from a heavily modified CRF230 (high comp piston, cam, carb, suspension) that is a great at singletrack but not so much other things. How are these on singletrack and how is the torque?

Yes they do its on the throttle side of the motor. It has a cover with 2 screws. Very easy to get to and it's a metal filter so you can clean it several times before you have to replace it. Congrats on the bike

I bought the bike in nashville and i can get parts through the dealership there. There are now 2 dealerships in Birmingham that carry this bike and parts. I dont know where your located but if you have a dealer they can order any parts you need. 2016 honda crf250r plastic is supposed to be a direct fit. Thats what i ordered my number plates for and they fit perfect

It looks a lot like a crf250r.some of the other guys on here have said thats what they based it off of. It feels like it has really good torque but ive just been fooling around with it in the yard. It will be this Saturday before i can really get it on the trails and hills to see how strong the motor really is

Definitely 250r! Its a awesome bike man. You can definitely ride this bike for kix if you wanted to but its great for harescrambles.
