SSRS -- Using a List Item to Display Details

Thank you, Patrick, for giving us a video that clearly explains how to design an SSRS report using Lists. I have been all over the Internet trying to find an explanation that I can apply to my real-life, job-related situation. Finally, this one makes sense! I'm confident now that I'll be able to report data in groups and subgroups with a tablix or matrix inside.

I've been struggling with PowerBi Report Builder and this finally got me unstuck. The groups need to be set up just the same way in order to successfully nest textboxes and Tablix in a list in a list in list. Thank you!!

I have 'value recorded date' as matrix column and want to hide that column if there is no value for whole column. It is not that the value will be blank or null, but there will not be any entry in data base for that column date. Please help
