Back in the ‘70’s my mom got paid to drop/ throw dishes on the ground at department stores to prove they wouldn’t break. Sold a LOT of dishes until you hit the inevitable “bad angle” or just did it one too many times & they broke anyway. But she said it was a ton of fun while it lasted!
