SSX All Character Select Screens

SSX Tricky's character select screen set the bar pretty high, if you ask me. Even though you had yet to choose the character you wanted to play as, each rider (sans Luther) emanated so much charm and personality from what they were doing within their respective panels.

Which is your favourite character select screen? I kind of consider everything after Tricky to be a downgrade myself. By the way, if you don't recognize the cover art for some of the games it is because I included pictures from Japanese versions and the European releases.

Ssx tricky has the best character screen for sure! I loved ssx tricky and ssx 3 as a kid so was so exited to get them again this month on the Ps2. Ssx tricky was fantastic. I have loved playing it again but ssx 3 not so much. I'm not sure why as I loved ssx 3 when it came out. Do you think they will bring out a new ssx?

@@findlay1arches I am happy you got to play Tricky and 3 again! 3 aged really well, but it might take you some more time to get used to it again. Tricky is easier and more memorable as a game so I always have fun going back to it. Sadly I think EA has long given up on SSX. I think Riders Republic and the game the original SSX creator is working on are the best we will get.

@@queenie1769 yeah I hope your right. I'm going to keep playing it and hope it becomes fun again :) riders Republic does look alot of fun. I'll try that eventually. I think it's cool your channel is dedicated to ssx. We're you a big fan growing up?

@@findlay1arches Hopefully you will get back into 3 as well, or you will just stick to enjoying Tricky. As a Tricky fan I can't complain about that. RR looks great and I tried the beta and watched streams of the game. I am not interested in the multisport aspect of it so i might buy it once the price drops or if they add more boarding/skiing content. Thank you! SSX was my favourite series growing up. There are many speedrunners of the game and other people who made youtube videos about the games. I have always loved archival content, such as watching all Tekken endings/win poses/tag throws etc. I got tired of there being no such thing for SSX. One day I decided to pull a Thanos and said: "Fine, I'll do it myself!" :)

I never knew ssx 2012 brought back certain designs from the older games, that's cool honestly, excepy for the retro mac design, ssx 3 mac's design isn't the best for me, if he was goggle and beanie less and with just a simple hoodie that would be the perfect ssx3 mac
