16:53-16:58 Kaori’s Face and reaction during that whole post-Race Cutscene Between her and Jp where she says Nani what is it JP? Or Nani What’s Wrong JP? Is so sarcastic that Kaori is literally saying yes I knocked you down JP what you gonna do about it? 😝 I could of totally saw Kaori stick her tongue out in a sarcastic way at JP not like how Psymon does it on the podium in SSX3 That I love it Kaori be taking that Sarcasm from Mac’s footsteps yes Mac is actually sarcastic especially in the beef between him and Moby. Since Moby legitimately Hates Mac for being a literal slob where Mac doesn’t actually hate Moby he just makes it look like he does.

6:16 I love how Kaori just called Psymon Childish by saying “How Childish.” Then again Psymon has many screws loose in his head. So I could see why Kaori would call him Childish. Kaori the girl who looks for the best in people including Jp and Luther but not Psymon. Then again Psymon doesn’t help in Kaori’s hate towards him since he bullies her on a day to day basis in Tricky especially when your using him. Cuz I believe in all of the races in world Circuit as Psymon annoys Kaori pre-Race in basically all of them only exception is Elysium Alps I believe.

ToruKun1 probably doesn’t help that Kaori is only Five feet tall making her Shoves extremely weak resulting in very few Knockdowns Kaori is more of a character who should avoid Shove fests as much as possible cuz she can’t effectively defend herself by shoving and knocking down opponents due to how weak her Shoves are takes at least two, two handed shoves from Kaori to knockdown an alpine rider besides Psymon where it takes one-handed shove and one two-handed Shove for Kaori to knockdown a fellow freestyle rider and Psymon and three two-handed shoves for Kaori to knockdown a BX rider as for Luther Kaori can’t knock down Luther to save her life so in other words if you accidentally piss him off as Kaori he’s basically one of those Bosses who can’t really beat legitimately. Luther’s to heavy for Kaori to even get Luther off balance were Mac/Marty can knock Luther off balance with one two-handed shove but it’s a major pain for Mac/Marty to effectively knockdown Luther until he inevitably catches back up to Mac/Marty and punches their lights out cuz when you get knocked down by Luther as mac/Marty you can actually feel the force of Luther’s Punches cuz he blasts you with them and to add insult to injury he can run you over as well. The only way Kaori can knock Luther off balance is by colliding with him multiple times. In the first two SSX Games the Original one and Tricky the Strength Of pushes/Shoves was determined by the size of the character meaning the taller the character the harder their pushes & shoves are even one of the loading screen tips in SSX 2000 even state this but worded differently meaning due to Kaori being puny at 5 foot tall she is subject to something I call Kaori abuse from all riders and the NPC ones in the Original SSX. So in other words Kaori is SSX (2000’s) Hard mode along with Hiro.

Root TheLucario I think most of us do and I think some people consider Mac and Kaori the main OTP of SSX along with Moby and Zoe and I can’t really think of another one off the top of my head and Mac and Kaori has some fan fictions as well don’t read them tho.

Glaring first it was Mac in the original and Tricky despite the cover having Elise, Eddie And Moby On it then Allegra in SSX3 Mac in Blur again Tyson Logan Nate’s Brother in On Tour then Zoe in 2012. The SSX timeline is setup like this SSX (2000) SSX Tricky (2001) SSX 3 (2003) SSX Blur a year or 2 after 3 then SSX On Tour (2005 I think it released in 05) then SSX2012

Quick tip: Don’t hold the jump button unless you’re ready to jump. Holding it makes your lessens your turning radius. It keeps you from using the right analog stick. It doesn’t make you go faster.

This is emulated on PC, using PCSX2. This allows you to upscale the games resolution, so I've had it bumped up to 1080p. Native PS2 is only 480p! Nothing you can do on the original hardware unfortunately.

She's got a good trick stat though which actually makes her pretty good in most situations. Characters are all playstyle and preference dependent though for the most part.

Dude wtf Mac and Kaori are riding partners that’s ice cold it’s only acceptable to knock her down when you have no boost otherwise if you Knockdown Kaori your not a true Mac player if you actually weren’t a jerk and constantly knocked her down every race you’d know that both Mac and Kaori look up to each other tho Mac being the lone wolf type of guy is hides that. Wow Kaori must of really hated you in your Mac World Circuit Playthrough meaning you null and voided Mac and Kaori’s Pre-Race cutscenes where they geniuely like each other.
