St Abbs

I visited the village of St Abbs, in the Scottish Borders. It's right on the east coast of Scotland. It was used as a shooting location for Avengers: Endgame, where it was used as the location for New Asgard.

St Abbs is a beautiful wee place. I certainly enjoyed my visit. I’m was so lucky with the weather that day. Hopefully we’ll get good weather this summer.

Hi absolutely fantastic so many memories I had my honeymoon with my wife there 45 years ago before she passed and instantly fell in love with the place, took all my children there on holiday at one point or another or spent time in Coldingham bay caravan park. By far the best beach at Coldingham beach with a great wee cafe and loved taking the family for their tea at Coldingham Love it go back occasionally with my dog and have lunch on the harbour

I had the privilege of visiting St. Abbs a few years ago...lovely scenic little place. Introduced to my first “poo roll” (crab) there. Did you try one? Great memories Claire . Thank you.

It sounds like you had a lovely wee trip to St Abbs. It is somewhere that has a lovely atmosphere. I didn't get the chance to try any of the seafood. That should be on the list for the next time that I visit the village. I'm glad that I managed to bring back some happy memories for you.

I always remember the wife letting me go for a few pints in Coldingham and I tried to phone the wife to see how the bairns were doing couldn't get a reception so the barmaid asked me what kind of phone I had she repplied I would have to go to the bus stop across the road to get a reception thought this was a wind up but went across low and behold I got in touch,

Yeah, you do get places in Scotland where the phone reception can be shocking. Hopefully that will be getting better now.
