St Anne is my patron saint. I chose her because I was infertile and she taught me patience. My husband and I ended up adopting and I believe her prayers are what brought our children to us. She continues to teach me patience and faithfulness to God. St Anne, pray for us! ❤️

Saint Anne is the Patron Saint of unmarried women, housewives, women in labor, women who want to be pregnant, grandmothers, mothers, and educators. She is also a patroness of horseback riders, cabinet-makers, and miners. As the mother of Mary, this devotion to Saint Anne as the patron of miners arises from the medieval comparison between Mary and Christ and the precious metals silver and gold. Anne's womb was considered the source from which these precious metals were mined. Saint Anne is also said to be a patron saint of sailors, and a protector from storms.

I went to heaven spiritually 2 separate times once at 10 and the other time at the end of highschool so 19 if I remember correctly. I talked to someone who sits above the archangels and that person gave me a vision in the room I was in which was all white with a gray couch and a gray loveseat that wasn't there at the time. The person looked like an older version of myself with a mask on and bright glowing blue eyes. The person gave me a vision of the whole worlds population with a mask on and everyone scared to be around each other. I also talked to the archangel Micheal and the conversation we had wasn't pleasant because he wasn't pleased with things I said about telling the world and said he'd burn my soul away entirely if I didn't follow what he said. The person who gave me the vision had this look of shock and absolute fury before telling Michael if he so much as touched a hair on my head it would take a rank of his wings away which instantly made him cool down and apologize. I asked this figure who it was because I knew it was someone powerful and important. It gave me 3 name's Anne , Annie and Annabelle and it said they're all important and religious names and then it said in life it was a female who gave the world a great gift by giving life to one who would give life to the savior. Then she said something that made me aware of who she was. She said she'd never seen anyone like her daughter Mary that is so kind and caring to all and that I am sinless like her daughter because I was born without the sin that all people have and as such as sinless like Mary. She said that when my life meets it's human end that I'd personally work in her garrison with her.

I’m confused. On some Catholic websites it says. both Sts.Joachim and Anne for July 26. On other references it is only St.Anne

That is probably due to the changes to the Roman Liturgical Calender in the 60's. In the 1962 missal (and before) only St Anne's feast day is on 26 July. In missals after the changes, St Joachim was added to that day. I'm happy to be corrected if I am incorrect here.

Thank you Father. Why did God use some women when they were old? Giving birth at an old age must have been so difficult, like Sara. I always wanted to ask if God knows what it's like to be old.

The God who created old age, and supports us through it, knows all our sufferings and cares about them. He knows every moment of your life and loves you. This doesn't mean that there won't be suffering. There will certainly be suffering. But in this instance, the pregnancy was seen as a miracle, not a curse. People thought very differently back then. It wasn't that these women were cursed with pregnancy in old age. They were blessed to have a child. If someone really wants something, prays for it for years, when their prayer is granted they rejoice. Complaining that a prayer is granted seems somehow ungrateful. Despite what our culture tells us, women are designed to give birth past their 20s. Having 2 children 2 years apart is not the historical norm. And for all we know, the God who blessed them and granted their prayers may have made the pregnancy easier.
