St. Augustine’s school Day celebration / Thousand Cranes - school drama

What an unforgettable day! The culmination of three days of celebration, today’s events were a perfect blend of tradition, emotion, and community. The highlight of the day was the moving performance of "A Thousand Cranes," a poignant story brought to life by our talented students. From the wings, I captured every moment, watching with pride as they performed with grace and conviction.
The day began with a solemn Eucharistic celebration, where we gathered to give thanks and reflect on the values our school holds dear. It was a joy to meet and greet ex-teachers, principals, and priests, each of whom had played a part in shaping the institution we cherish.
After the service, the energy shifted to the swimming gala, where the spirit of competition and camaraderie was on full display. Laughter and cheers filled the air, a testament to the vibrant community spirit that defines our school.
Lunch packets were then distributed class-wise, and students gathered in groups to share their meals, a simple yet cherished tradition. As I recorded these moments, I couldn't help but feel a deep sense of gratitude for the opportunity to witness and be part of such a meaningful day.
This three-day celebration has been a true testament to the heart and soul of our school, where every event, from the solemn to the joyous, has brought us closer together. As the day draws to a close, I’m left with memories that will last a lifetime, captured not just on camera, but in my heart.
