Well, this is a beautiful and sad work here. It's St. Austell, it's Cornwall, but these operations were carried out on many towns/cities , in Britain, I understand, and also in the United States and elsewhere. In the name of late-modern consumerism. Again, this is lovely work, this film. and very sad.

I do remember 60's new town center first opening even though I was very young at the time

I loved the town back then. Such a shame what it has become, overdeveloped, impersonal and sterile.
