I am a Roman Catholic Monk. I wear a gold Crucifix every day, and have a red one for certain tasks. I have a Benedictine Shield, that I wear daily. I have one on my keyring, and I have a Benedictine Order ring. I also have a larger Benedictine medal that I keep in my bedroom. I keep a Rosary pouch, with an extra Rosary in my shirt or pant pocket. I have a full Holy Family, Benedictine cross at my front door. I pray every day that all evil spirits be gone from my house, my car and my personal effects. Amen. That is how I make sure that an evil has not gotten in, or next to me in any way. I am glad my prayers and affiliations anger Satan, as I continue to help and pray for my fellow Christians worldwide. Let me not get in the devil's way, but, to help our Lord crush him completely. I’m not a Catholic but been growing in my faith closer with Jesus than I’ve ever been. I’ve been researching and praying more. I learned the micheal prayer and say it everyday and now have a pendant on my necklace along with my cross and wear a st micheal ring. St Benedict kept popping up on my KZbin recommended so here I am and feel like my faith is leading me to something so great. I've had a couple of motorcycle accidents and still I'm so lucky to survive all or should I say its a miracle that no serious or critical injury was occured. Maximilian M... So cool! We often hear of the medal's power against sin and bad spirits but forget its power for health of body, mind and soul also! I've heard many stories about this medal. My favorite one so far (told by a priest on another video) is of its protection of family against fire. I don't remember if he or another priest had helped the family by prayers, etc. before; but the signal part is that medals were buried all around the house property (I think he said ten or more). A major fire later swept through the rural community.... Sadly, every house was burned down >except that family's home. But that's not even the punchline: get this, the fire did not even touch their house... >>IT STOPPED COLD AT THE PROPERTY LINE! And there was no wall or barrier there. Later the fire marshal inspecting the area was couldn't believe what had happened. He said there's no explanation for it; a raging fire does not just stop and die by itself when nothing's been done to stop it. Every time I think of it, it blows me away. Praised be God! Blessed and thanked be St Benedict! (When by praying we honor, bless, thank any saint for their life and intercession during their life and also later for others-and that includes by pious use of sacramentals-we show them genuine appreciation and increase the likelihood that they will specially help us too. I studied in a catholic school in my younger days who’s clergy was ran by Priests from The Order of St. Benedict (OSB) and learned about the prayer of this medal at a young age. I dreamt about being in an encounter with a demon and immediately prayed St. Benedict’s prayer upon waking up. I immediately felt comfort and relief and watched this video after. i have severe mental illness and was raised as an athiest and remained an athiest until approximately 2 years ago. i have been disturbed during psychosis and outside psychosis by the belief that i could feel evil. I believed i could see demons, that they were ever present at times in my life. I have seen a distorted face of a passerby who lunged at me that others could not see (they said he coughed while calming me), heard angry, rasping whispers saying my name and more. i had always attributed all these things to the nature of my mental illness. i have always felt drawn to Christianity but saddened because i was unable to allow myself to believe in the existence of God due to my belief it was not logical and the arrogance that often accompanies extreme athiest views. over time i became more and more unwell. Growing up id had a friend who wore the medal of St Christpher. I was not aware of what exactly this was for except for protection and was not aware there were many types of these medals for different saints. when i was unable to sleep and paranoid with delusions and fear i bought the pendant of what i know now is st benedict off amazon as it was the first Catholic medal on the list. it was shipped to my home and upon putting it on i have never experienced the same type of "satanic" images/delusional beliefs again. i did continue to suffer other delusions for nearly a decade but the demonic ones were gone. the delusions shifted to be based on things possible in the real world or things that were not real but not overly disturbing. today as of 2 years ago i no longer experience delusions at all. i changed my diet and lifestyle due to illness and saw much relief. while i was making these changes i also asked God to reveal himself to me if he was really there and said I would believe. The room i was in lit up with sunlight and while it was possible for me to rationalize it away I kept my word. I begun to attend mass at the Catholic church a few months later. My first attendance was the first day the of the church calendar year which was also by complete coincidence and something i did not realize until later on when i more properly understood how mass worked. the first mass was so powerful i could not stop crying and it felt as if a powerful force was pressing down on my head and shoulders, i also saw a yellow glow around the priest which i thought may have been a trick of the light though this only happened the first several visits and again recently. I have realized many of my experiences with God have put me on this path and I have only become more and more settled and at peace as time goes on. I have taken the medal off 2 times in over a decade and both for only a few minutes as i truly believe it has aided in my wellbeing even before i allowed myself to believe in God. I will be baptized this Easter. God Bless.

watching this video I also learned that St Benedict is the patron saint of a happy death. part of my illness has been an obsession with a constant fear of death which has completely prevented me from living my life. I also no longer fear death. most people fear death but at 8 years old I would cry myself to sleep nightly terrified I would die. as an adult I spent 8 months sleeping in the living room during the day with the lights on where someone would be near if I started dying. this fear did not subside when I begun wearing the pendant but went away approximately when I started attending mass.

Salve Maria! The Medal of St. Benedict is pretty widespread... You should be able to find one fairly easily in a store that sells Catholic Religious items. Checking at your local Parish Church is another good option. Once you get one, do make sure you get it blessed according to the official exorcistic rite made available in the description of this video.
