St Brendans Pattern Day, Wethers Well (Tobar na Molt), Tubrid, Ardfert, Co Kerry. 16 May 2023.

Wethers Well (Tobar na Molt) is reputed to be the baptism site of St Brendan, Patron Saint of Kerry. He was baptised here by Bishop Erc sometime after his birth in 484 AD. St Brendans Day is 16th May and Mass is celebrated on site. It was also visited on St Johns Eve, 23rd June. The Holy Well is accessible throughout the year and is maintained beautifully by the Wellkeepers, Annemarie and Richard O Flaherty and family.
