Jesus gave St Brigid prayers to be said for 1 year, and also for 7 yrs as reparation for His Passion; unique promise's are granted those who pray them. She received special knowledge of Our Lord's Passion and of Our Lady's Sorrows. The details disclosed by Brigid and the prayers made available to us are a priceless gift-and grace-God has given the world. Especially if there are loved ones, or even dear ones not of our family, it is well worth offering up to God these prayers. Thank you-and God be praised- for your faithfulness and great love. St. Brigid pray for us.

It seems souls do condemn themselves, rejecting God's mercy. They also reject themselves and pridefully refuse forgiveness, which is sinful because by rejecting self one also rejects God who created the soul.

@footballcoreano I agree to an extent. Turning to God in prayer is beyond feelings, meaning that we should pray whether we feel like it or not. It is an act of the will. Feelings eventually follow, but not always in this life.

@footballcoreano thank you for your comment. I feel the same way! We have to persevere until the end.

This vision is not how st Faustina describes a soul that is in danger of perishing. She describes it as a loving lord approaching the soul at the last moments and trying to save the soul and then it is the soul who rejects the lord willfully and condemns itself.
@perserverance3332 жыл бұрын
It's similar. His heart was searched but nowhere was found love or remorse, just cold. It seems to me God searched his heart out of mercy but no goodness was found, nor a desire to repent and be with God.

@Joan Up I'm not trying to refute it just observing a difference between the two approved visions.
@perserverance3332 жыл бұрын
@@themajor333 There really is no difference though. God searched his soul and found it "cold", not responsive to His Love and Mercy...so it condemned itself.

St John Bosco told his students that God shows us things - speaking of visions - in symbols and such, because it is impossible for our minds to comprehend. God can show the exact same truth in multiple ways. Although it can seem like a contradiction on the surface it really is not. One difference here is that the soul is not in his last moments but is already dead, compared to the vision of St Faustina where the soul still has a chance. Showing that God condemns a soul does not contradict that the soul condemns itself - since God is only confirming the soul's choice. A soul that has no tenderness whatsoever has rejected every grace offered to him.
