Cool to see you looking around St Catharine’s! There is definitely a lot of outdoor stuff to do in the area but having a car is almost necessary. Did you guys check out sunset beach in the north end? It’s much bigger and nice than port’s. If you came down again I’d drive you guys around for a day to see some nature!

I was there 2 weeks ago when we were vacationing in Niagra Falls CA...there were many beautiful areas East and Southwest of the city. The people we met there were super-nice, we loved little Jones Beach for a peaceful walk (don't swim there), and we did love Niel Peart's favorite memory at Lakeside Park! I guess the wind was going the other way that day because it was peaceful and didn't smell of gas. And please thank your GF Cynthia for showing an appearance. You are one lucky man to have her!

One time I was on KZbin, and I saw this vegetable police dude come up in my video recommendations. At first glance I was like "who is this guy?? I bet he never goes into oceans..", but I couldn't have been more wrong. After watching numerous videos and surfing around through comment sections I discovered that he was, in fact, at one point, IN an ocean, and not just once, but MULTIPLE times. The moral of the story is, never judge an ocean by the ebook.

Except it only appears that way. The whole "shoe horn" area of Burlington, Hamilton, St. Catherines, etc, is considered the most polluted area in Ontario with the highest rates of cancer. It also has a big problem with street gangs and violent crime.
@raesour2806 Жыл бұрын
@@Doofus171exactly! In the past few years there has been an uptick of crime, gun violence, homelessness and drug addiction/manufacturing. Downtown is scuzzy. Many people here struggle to afford the necessities. They work full time and are still just scraping by, with many turning to food banks for survival.

Port Dalhousie is the town that Canada’s rock band Rush’s drummer Neil Peart grew up in and also Lakeside Park there is one of their earlier songs. I grew up not far from there in Lewiston, NY. Wild grapes probably spread by birds from the nearby wineries. Nice videos of the area around St. “Kitts”. For living costs, might you even try the USA side? Lewiston is a fantastic town, you would really like that. At least for a visit.

You did well to pass on living in the shitty of St. Catharines. I was born and raised there, and I left in 2008 and never went back. It's really boring, void of opportunity or action, and a lot of people there are anti-intellectual. It's like all the C minus average high school students in the province got together and created a city. And it's economically depressed. Well done passing it over.

VP you could rent / buy in Western Hill in the south, and have access to Decew Falls, Short Hills Provincial Park Trails and Swayze Falls. Keep exploring man. This is a warmer part of Ontario, good access to the lake, GO train and the US border. Best of all, low population density to survive what is coming next.
@a.b.40522 жыл бұрын
Why do you feel the lower pop densities are preferred? Wouldnt it be more dangerous during the cull because the lack of numbers would make it easier to be taken to camps?

If you happen to settle down around there please keep an eye out for my son! He'll be 5 this summer and is about 3.5 - 4 ft tall with dark curly hair (not sure if his dad made him get it shaved on the sides still). His name is Bailey and last I knew he lived with his dad (Daniel Rodney) and dad's adoptive mother (Cynthia) at 9 Atwood St... But she's sold the house and they've refused to keep me in contact with my son so I have no idea where he is. Btw I'd really advise against that city. People will say it's a cute place cuz they're attached to what it use to be. Now it's a dumping ground for students and seniors and rich people... the rents there are ridiculous.
