I am a convert, too, I started with the Baptists, then fell away, then at the age of 16, I went to the Mormans, then I KNEW that was wrong, then at the age of 23 I became Catholic, but I floundered in the Church for 25 years before I learned that Jesus is the Holy Eucharist. I am now 72 years old, very sorry for all of my sins, and so grateful for His Divine Mercy and for the Divine Will, and for Saints Padre Pio, St. Charbel, for the Venerable Fulton J. Sheen, and for ALL of the Saints. I believe that God wants ALL of us to become Saints, and this is my prayer.

There was an Italian woman who lives in Australia had gone to Lebanon to visit the shrine of Saint Charbel to get the blessing from the Saint and ask for her healing from terminal cancer. When she went to the shrine with her Lebanese friend, she had arrived at the time when the church was closed. She was at the time disappointed that she never got to see any priest to get the blessing. However, when she returned to the car she saw a priest next to it and the priest asked her what can he do for her. She told him her story, and thus he gave her the blessing and the woman has asked to get a picture of him and her together. Then she departed and went back to Australia to find out that her cancer no longer exist. She went back to the picture she took with that priest, and after looking at it she realized that priest was Saint Charbel himself.

Receptionist was visibly upset. I went n talked, and pressed her to tell me what was wrong. She finally told me her son was suicidal and was deeply concerned. I told her I would pray for her and her son. As soon as I walked away I began crying and praying heavily. Apparently the next day over 100 doctors had called her son and them. She and I became fam after that. There is great power in heartfelt prayer. I read the final chapter God wins. One day at same job, I asked God what would happen if everybody just stopped loving? A moment later the power shit off and it was pitch black.

In 2002 I visited St. Charbel’s tomb. I was standing and looking at his body and a tiny blue light came right to the middle of my forehead like a little blue dot was placed there. It happened so naturally that it seemed almost natural that it happened. I had no physical issues or problems that I was hoping to heal. However, 21 years after that event, I can confidently say that something amazingly spiritual happened to me that day because my life today is evident of that.

Great talk Father Alar. You are definitely right. God guides us in times of trouble. When I had kidney problem at 13, (too young), St. Joseph and Baby Jesus appeared in my dream. Spoke to an old man with a huge ulcer on his lower leg. He could only put his shoe half on. He was selling objects of cedar near the cedar trees. It's in a street of little wooden cabins. I gave him the oil of Lebanon and told him to apply it pray and I WOULD PRAY AT THE SAME TIME at the tomb of St Charbel. Next year I passed and he came running at me jumping up and down. Shouting to his friends in other cabins. He took my hand lifted his trouser leg the huge ulcer had gone. I rushed to find a maronite priest to witness and translate. The doctor of the man was the cousin of the priest and his ulcer had completely healed after three years of rotting flesh and fear of amputation. God is good.

Becoming progressively paralyzed and suffer with thr cruelest, most painful disease known to man, Full Body CRPS. Dying also of Lyme Disease. I see that God chose me to be a hermit for a while. Since his death in 1898, there have been over 26,000 miracles attributed to the intercession of Saint Charbel Makhlouf. He is considered to have the most miracles out of the over 10,000 saints in the history of the Church, other than the Blessed Virgin Mary. One of his latest miracle was the cure of a Slovakian woman who had a terminal cancer, and her days were numbered who lives in Slovakia, and whom her Syrian neighbor who is familiar with Saint Charbel has prayed for Saint Charbel's intercession for her healing. The prayers were answered, and the cancer has miraculously disappeared from her body. All of her medical files and medical doctor's testimony were filed to confirm the miracle in Saint Charbel's monastery in Lebanon.

Dear Diane, I also have a daughter named Laura. She had an accident 4 years ago and broke her neck in 2 places. She was just a sophomore in high school at the time. The surgery was a huge success but the accident caused her to develop scoliosis and I think POTS which affects her digestion. I will pray for both of our Laura’s for healing!! You know I felt scared about going to confession , going to a priest to confess one’s sins is very scary but When I thought I am not speaking to the priest, I am speaking to God , he is the only one who hears me , the priest is my loudspeaker to God, my life changed and I love going to confession , I don’t fear it anymore, I love saying I am sorry to god , the priest helps me with my penance and gives me advice to help me come closer to god Look at confession this way and you will never be the same again It is life changing Blessings and go to god

On July 1st Friday i had a slight headache and body aches.No cold,cough or fever,but until July 20th I could not eat at all,my daughter got me and my wife soups and broths.I had lost 23-25 lbs,from 180 + lbs i was down to 156 lbs.On 20th i heard a talk on St Charbel i thought i was going to die.That night I fervently prayed to St Charbel and cried out to God. Next morning i was shocked i got my appetite back had a hearty breakfast with four sunny side up eggs.Amazing i am recover today although 20 lbs less now at 160 lbs but got my high energy is back.YES ST CHARBEL WORKED AMIRACLE.PRAY FOR US ST CHARBEL.

The National Shrine of the Grotto of Lourdes in Emmitsburg, MD has a Saint Charbel shrine. I did not know too much about this saint but I had the honor of venerating the relic and being in the present of members of his family. I feel that it is such a blessing to be able to celebrate the feast day while having Fr. Chris doing a talk on it.

Father I am a parishioner of St Anthony Maronite Church in Springfield Ma, I witnessed my wife’s best friend who was a non practicing Episcopalian, terminally ill with cancer be blessed with the church’s class 1 relic and given last rites with oil from the saints tomb, a strange peaceful smile came across her face and she seemed to forget the agony she was feeling and fell into a deep sleep then passed later that night… which was the Saints feast day. She was suppose to dwindle for a prolonged period, Truly a miraculous moment! I say his 9 day novena for her every month in tribute to him.. Blessings

St Charbel, has been a part of my life for a long time. A wonderful Lebanese Maronite priest introduced him to me and my life was blessed from that moment. This same priest gave me a beautiful picture he brought from Lebanon at mass to intercede for me for healing with breast cancer. And the miracle happened, I didn’t need chemo or any treatment. I have been cancer free for over 15 years, and I truly believe my faith and trust in God and St Charbels intercession. And Father Chris I truly believe that he is my patron Saint, he just keeps his presence alive in my life. Thank you Father for this amazing video that I will share and treasure forever. We definitely need to know more about this saint! Here in Peoria, IL we have a Saint Charbel parish. We went to Mass there one Sunday because Saint Bernard was our home parish. If I remember correctly, there were no kneelers in the pews. I liked the experience of this Mass. If I remember correctly, it was Byzantine Rite.🐦

Recently, we have had a shooting incident here where three people were killed because the suspect suspected that the former mayor was involved in a drug syndicate which she wasn't. But the killer took the matter into his hands and killed not only her but two other people as well.
