My second long-distance hike of 62miles from Melrose in Scotland to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne in England. Almost 3 days of walking in completely soaked shoes with camping along the way. Due to weather conditions not the best views along the way, but it is always just another reason to do it again.

Cool. my aunt’s ashes are on Holy Island. I went there a couple of months after to see them (I’m in Canada). It was a similar day as in your video but the sun came out for a moment which made the whole experience magical

Hi great video thanks for sharing, how many days did it take you to complete the walk? Do you think it’s possible to go from Melrose to kirk yetholm in one day? Then wooler the second night and holy island on the last day? Thanks so much x

Hi. Thanks for watching. It took me 2.5 days to complete the walk. From Melrose to Kirk Yetholm will be around 48km so depend on your fitness but it's possible, just go lightweight. Also check the tides time and the timetable for return buses as this doesn't run every day. I needed to walk whole the way back to the main road, to catch the bus to Berwick.

Hey! Thanks for the video :) how did you find the camping in Northumberland? I’m currently planning my route but struggling to find campsites along the way. As a solo female I’m a little worried about wild camping. X

I had been to Northumberland only twice, but in England in general I avoid tourist attractions, towns and grazing fields. Look at the Google map for potential camp spot and don't be afraid to leave the trail. Recently I ended up camping in England quite a lot within the forests and I always send my gpx location to family, just in case.
