the legend of Pasaquan and Saint Eom (aka Eddie Owens Martin, is the story of an outsider artist from Buena Vista, Georgia... the son of a share cropper. He ran away from home at age 14 and moved to New York only to return upon his father's death. he wanted to create a peaceful gathering place. His vision was the intersection of where the past, present and future all come together. It fuses African, Indian, pre-Columbian and native American cultural & religious symbols and designs. Eddie made a living as a fortune teller.
